TEAM CATEGORY------ 1.) Camouflage2.) Neon ( back piece only landscape or city scape theme) and 3.) Optical Illusion.

  • Pick your team- MINIMUM of 3 person team Max 7 people. (including photographer, models, assistants, painters, SFX)

  • Fill out the participant application and pay your per person application fee. This is the ONLY category ALL Entrants will get to pick their team, the live event is randomized and not all applications will be accepted for the live event.

  • Email Laurel or Erica at dreamdaylionheartsevents@gmail.com to get address to ship prints to.

  • Get your 3 prints (size 16x20) to us BY October 15,2019. Event coordinators prepare and mount for display. ANY prints received after October 15,2019 will not be eligible.

  • MUST HAVE NAME OF TEAM AND TEAM MEMBERS.

  • HAVE FUN!!! We have an amazing guest judge voting on this plus the audience!

      *ANY TEAM MEMBERS ENTERED IN THIS CATEGORY WILL RECEIVE $15 off the live event application fee.

1 GRAND PRIZE in this category-  $1500.00 for the team.  

 LIVE CATEGORY------------                                                                                                              

  • Fill out and submit $50 application, applications without payment will be rejected.

  • Make sure you have included your headshot AND full body picture if you are a entering as a model

  • You will be notified via email June 1st  of your acceptance and given information as to whom you are paired with 

  •  You then have 90 days to pay your registration fees.   ALL will be chosen via Randomizer. We will post all  teams on the Western Region Body Paint Competition Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/Western-Region-Body-Paint-Competition-313019255993903/

  • Artists registration fee without selling 6 Tour of Painter, tickets-  $250.00 (refer to Event Tickets Tab)

  • Artists fee with selling 6 Tour of Painter tickets, - $150.00 (refer to Event Tickets Tab)

  • Artists fee with selling 6 General Admission tickets, $200.00 (refer to Event Tickets Tab)

  • Models fee- $75.00 (refer to Event Tickets Tab

  •  Photographers press pass 3 days of event- $75.00 for the WHOLE event OR $40.00 daily 

Each of the three days there will be a different theme as follows:

November 8th, 2019-  ” Works of Art”  ------ Artists will create a head to toe/ front to back creation based upon their choice of inspirational works in the mediums of glass art, paintings, sculpture or architecture.   Models will be ”cat-walking” to show off their artists work. Meet and greet and photographs to follow.

• November 9th, 2019- “2 D and Cartoon Art”  ------ Using  their adult model, artists will create a head to toe, front to back  piece showcasing 2 D Pop Art and Cartoon art, drawing inspiration from hero's/villains and cartoons ( think Dick Tracy and Lisa Frank)  Models will  ” catwalk” and then be photographed during the meet and greet. 

VOTES from the first two nights will determine the top 10 for the final vote.

• November 10th, 2019- ”Literary Works of Art”  The final night will showcase and crown hour 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.  In this final competition night,  Artists will do a front to back head to toe piece “illustrating” their favorite book.

 

SFX is acceptable and encouraged with all looks..

1st Night- Tacoma Rescue Mission/ Tacoma Food Bank

2nd Night- Oasis Youth Center/ Youth Suicide Prevention Program

3rd Night-  Fisher House A place for families of wounded warriors

 1st place $1000.00  to the artist at the live event, Award and products prizes.

 1st place- $350.00  to model in product prizes to be announced, plus a cash

2nd place $ 750.00 to the  to the artist at the live event, award and product

2nd place $250.00 to the model in product prizes to be announced , plus a cash prize.

 

3rd place $350.00 to the artist, plus product prizes and award.

3rd place $100.00 in product prizes to be announced
